| Alan and his family, Kathy and I ran Wheeler Lake. We left Alan's house really early at 7:00 AM and it paid off, we had the trail and the lake to ourselves for most of the morning and only ran into traffic on the way back down to the trailhead.
This was the first time I’d run the trail all the way to the lake and I’d now put this trail on my top 10 list. The trail is fun and challenging in places, the scenery is amazing and we caught so many brook trout out the lake that we released more that we kept for once.
