We spent a wonderful weekend with great friends (Alan, Lisa, Hope and the dogs (Cooper, Fred and Marcy) and great scenery. Denver’s been HOT lately, so we headed to the mountains for some camping, fishing, and sight seeing. We might have gotten a little more ‘cool’ weather and ‘rain’ than we bargained for, but it was a wonderful weekend even so!
We started out on Friday afternoon, headed to the Leadville area’s Turquoise Lake with no plans other than that. After only a few minutes of exploring, we found a fantastic campsite right on the lake.
Saturday we ran Weston Pass and Mosquito Pass. Mosquito Pass was soooo beautiful. Here are some of our favorite pics!
