Alec and I had a really great trip to Utah near end of June into early July. Usually when we go to Utah, we concentrate on 4 wheeling, but this time, we joined a group to explore some of the National Parks and just plain hang out with some friends.
We started the trip with 2 good friends, Neo and Five. Together we started by exploring and photographing Capital Reef National Park. We camped for 2 nights and saw some beautiful scenery. We hit Neo’s home-base for a night and got to catch up with his wonderful other half Darla. After recouping we headed out again to Canyonlands National Park to traverse the 130 mile White Rim Trail. We camped about three-fourths way through. Throughout our adventures we had quite a few laughs and Alec and I really enjoyed hanging out with Neo, Darla and Five.
We headed back to Neo’s Moab to spend 4th of July and to meet up with some more friends from wheeling for the rest of the weekend. Jac made us a delicious dinner one night, we settled a perfect spot for Moab’s fireworks display, and we had a great time hanging out with everyone we hadn’t seen for a while.
